sooooo in this nail varnish moment i am channeling late 90's era mid-august blazin hot as in "do the right thing" hot! anyway south of the cham-border by opi is a flashy neon-ish,electric tangerine reddish lacquer. south of the cham-border is part of an exclusive collection partnering opi and chambord liqueur. you may have to hunt this varnish down because i got it for the free at an chambord liqueur event last year-(thanks autumn) good luck in your search!

sooooo the crew and i went to eat and talk sh** on sunday at el mariscos barcos for darryl's " nyc" send off! it was decent, the food was bueno and if you like seafood "catch to order" this is the place to go. the seafood is xtra fresh, but if you hate shrimp with eyeballs and legs(like self) don't get the peel and eat!there are also treats on your way out-the peach,cherry,strawberry and grape chews at the door are an xtra incentive! darryl although i only see u occasionally in the chi u will be missed!

christian siriano announced plans to debut an accessories line for payless at fashion week. the designer premiered his line of egyptian-inspired footwear at his show which was full of spikes, chains, and cone heels. his color choices: deep brown in matte leather (or probably pleather), patent chocolate, gold triangle heels, and aqua satin featuring a print that resembled hieroglyphics. I love that these will only cost $25 to $45 when they hit stores this fall, i will be copping a pair!

first i look at the purse!

sooooo since i am a purse fiend i will be starting a section called first i look at the purse!
this section is inspired by the contours 1965 hit! although they are on some pimp sh**- i still like the song! first i look at the purse meaning to the contours has a slight different meaning to me. in my opinion you dont have to have the must expensive or most known designer bag to be hot! but your bag does say alot about you and can make a difference between a hot wardrobe and a not so hot one!

on friday my boos and i hit the cold bitter streets in style! i must admit that we stunt regularly from the longest strand of hair on our head to the pinkie toe! he has really blessed us with the gift of stunt! (classes offered monthly@LOW RATES). anyway we started at lj's linen room-which in a mintue will become our very own nipsey's! and since we do keep it hood we tried to hit up visions on ashland but of course antoine was fighting and the party was over before we could grace the place. soooooo instead of going hollywood (downtown chicago) we went back to -where everybody knows your name- lj's linen room!!! we popped bottles and roasted all nite! people are funny creatures! by the end of the nite we were toasted!
